Stitch Chart Studio is built so that there is as little to collect as possible.

Your charts never leave your computer

The editor is a static web page. Every chart you draw is rendered, saved and exported by code running in your own browser — there is no server that receives your work, because there is no server involved in drawing at all. Specifically:

• Charts autosave into your browser's own local storage on your machine. Clearing your browser data clears them.
• .chart.json project files are written to and read from your own disk by you.
• SVG and PDF exports are generated in the browser and downloaded directly. Nothing is uploaded to produce them.
• There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no cloud sync.

What we do collect

Privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics — page views and referrers only — so we can see which pages people find useful. No cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers, no profile of you.

If you buy a Pro license

Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, under their privacy policy. They process your payment and send you a license key; we receive your email address and license key so we can support you and honor refunds, and nothing else. We never see your card details.

When you activate a license in the editor, the key is checked against Lemon Squeezy's license server and then remembered in your own browser's storage. That check sends the key — not your charts.

Children

This is a tool for making crochet charts and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the change will appear on this page.
